Dr. Roehl Texas Rising Stars 2016
Dr. Kendall Roehl has been recently named among the 2016 Texas Super Doctors® Rising Stars. Presented by Texas Monthly Magazine, only 2.5% of all registered, practicing physicians in the state are included in the prestigious list.
The Rising Stars list follows the same rigorous multi-phase selection process for Super Doctors. Only the highest-scoring doctors emerging from the surveys, research, and panel review are selected to join the list. The selection process includes the following stages:
- Survey of Doctors
To start the nominations, more than 40,000 doctors are initially asked to answer the question “If you needed medical care in one of the specialties, which doctor would you choose?” - Candidate Search
Texas Monthly’s staff, alongside Key Professional Media Inc., conducts further candidate search to include physicians from highly-specialized fields in the nominees list. - Research
Based on the 10 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, each and every candidate is subjected to an independent, all-encompassing assessment. - The Blue Ribbon Panel Review
Candidates with the highest scores are requested to serve as the Blue Ribbon Panel. They are tasked to review and evaluate the remaining candidates in their specializations. - Final Selection and Verification
Points from each of the selection stage are added to determine the physicians qualified for the list. In addition, further verification and research are performed to confirm the doctors’ credibility and standing.
Nominees included in the Rising Stars list must be fully licensed to practice in their respective field. They should also be active physicians for 10 years or less. Passing both the nomination and evaluation processes, this is Dr. Roehl’s first time to receive such recognition.
